Air Curtain
An air curtain is a device that separates indoor hot or cold air from outer environment and ensures energy saving. It is usually mounted to doors and windows and it prevents the air inside from escaping or the air outside from entering with the strong air flow it creates. Air curtains are used for purposes such as decreasing the energy costs, increasing the indoor comfort and keeping away the dust, dirt and insects from outside. Primary areas of use of air curtains with and without heaters, which have different types from 100 cm to 200 cm, are as follows:
1. Commercial Areas: It is used to prevent hot or cool air from escaping in the gates of stores, restaurants and hotels.
2. Industrial Areas: It is used in the entrances of storages and factories to ensure temperature control and energy saving.
3. Hygienic Areas: It preserves fresh air flow to help sustain hygienic conditions in hospitals and laboratories.
4. Food Industry: It preserves the food quality in food production and storage areas, blocking the entry of insects and dust.
